Subic Bay International Terminal Corporation (SBITC) team exhibited again their intense concern with the protection of environment this time by joining the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) held on 19 September 2015.
An orientation with the volunteers was conducted before going to the cleaning site along the western portion of the terminal coastline. The picking-up of garbage lasted for two hours and an L-300 load (30 bags) of different kinds of debris mostly plastic cups/bottles/wrappers, Styrofoam and rubber slippers were collected.
The whole SBITC team is committed to participate in this kind of activity that concerns environmental protection and conservation.
