Involved in the development, acquisition, management, and operation of container ports and terminals all over the world. ICTSI directly manages and operates the Manila Internationl Container Terminal.

Established in December 1987, ICTSI is widely recognized as a leading operator, innovator and pioneer in its field. We have a track record that confirms our ability to rapidly adapt to different operating environments, and to add substantial value to our operated terminals by enhancing their efficiency at every level. We also have the proven ability to perform beyond the expectations of central and regional governments of a privatization process, spanning both developed and emerging economies.

We have been cited by the Asian Development Bank as being one of the top five major maritime terminal operators in the world. The group also holds the title of being the first entity within the Philippine maritime industry to be ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 certified, confirmations of our commitments to standards of excellence in all theaters of our operations, encompassing both front-line and back-up aspects of maritime facility development, management and operation.

After consolidating and strengthening our base and flagship operations at the Manila International Container Terminal in the Philippines , we realized the potential for an independent international terminal operator like ourselves, and launched an aggressive international and domestic expansion program in 1994.

We take pride in being a partner in the true sense of the word in the development and management of port operations around the world on behalf of governments divesting themselves of maritime port assets by various privatization vehicles.

Strategy

We strive to remain a major container terminal operator, operating strategically and located ports throughout the world.

To achieve this, we intend to expand our activities internationally while growing our core business in Manila , as well as developing our related businesses.

We intend to focus our resources on what we do best: port management, operations and development.

These resources shall be allocated and continuously re-invested to improve and upgrade our organization and manpower, information technology, support structures and cargo handling equipment to ensure world-class operating standards in all the ports we currently operate and will operate in the future.
